Prof. dr. Tom Børsen (Aalborg University)

Tom Børsen is an Associate Professor at Aalborg University, where he is a member of the Responsible Technology Futures research group (Re-TECH). In his research he enacts ethical and participatory technology assessment as well as action research and citizen science to promote responsibility in technological innovation. Tom holds experience with interdisciplinary project and research management both as PI of three projects, as editor of ten anthologies and special journal issues, and as the Danish representative in the Management Committee of two COST Actions. He is one of the lead editors of the Routledge International Handbook of Engineering Ethics Education that was published in 2025.
