Ankit Kumar Singh

Ankit Kumar Singh, is a PhD researcher (research group, Spatial Capacity Building), at the Faculty of Architecture and Arts, Hasselt University, Belgium. Graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven, as a Social Designer, his design practice is situated in the context of reimagining community-led design projects, offering a critical view in its making. As part of Project Listen research team, his current work explores the relation between Participation Design, Relation Listening and Suburban neighborhood planning methods, by experimenting with Sounds, Sounds technologies and Spaces. Before moving  to Europe in 2021, he worked as a Designer for Artisanal Crafts, engaging directly with Craftspeople and their livelihoods from across India and Asia.
