PhD Researcher Petra Žišt

Petra Žišt is a cultural anthropologist interested in design anthropology, science and technologies studies, ICTs, emerging technologies for transportation, mobility, health, and energy transitions. She primarily employs qualitative methods, including ethnographic and participatory approaches, to explore how people’s lived experiences and future visions can inform policy and technology development. As part of the Reworlding project, she investigates urban renovations within energy transitions, with a particular interest in community engagement in revitalization efforts. Her work explores how energy transitions and home modernizations can be more just and balanced, with respect to cultural heritage, social, environmental, economic concerns of people and more-than-human relationships.
