Workshop Open science

Open science within the European framework aims to make research and data widely accessible, promoting transparency and collaboration. Emphasising FAIR data—findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable—enhances research quality. Effective data management and comprehensive Data Management Plans (DMPs) ensure data integrity and accessibility. In Participatory Design (PD), (digital) data collection is crucial as it allows stakeholders to actively engage in the research and design process., making the process inclusive and impactful. Hands-on experience with diverse viewpoints, through partner case studies, enriches research outcomes and develops critical collaboration and problem-solving skills essential in PD.
