tone before time by Maanmetta Puntoomsinchai
Description
“tone before time” is about humanity’s current and future technological progress towards understanding the universe’s past. It contrasts the sounds of gravitational waves with urban and man-made noises. Having curiosity is a fundamental part of being human, and this is reflected in the musical elements of this piece attempting to replicate the sounds of gravitational waves. In the end, some of the universe’s quietest sounds are amplified to live harmoniously with man-made music.
